Ingredients:
1 pc Tilapia, fried
1 pc carrots, julliened
1 pc red bell pepper / capsicom, julliened
5 cloves Garlic, diced
1 onion, sliced
1 pc thumb size ginger, julliened
2- 3 tbsp Brown sugar
3 tbsp Ketchup
½ cup Vinegar
1 tbsp cornstarch
Salt
Pepper
1 ½ cup water
2 tbsp oil
Cooking Instructions:
1. Heat oil in a pan, sautee ginger, onions and garlic.
2. Add carrots and bell pepper and let it cook for 2 -3 minutes.
3. Add water and simmer for 5 minutes.
4. Add ketchup, sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper then mix thoroughly. Note: add the sugar gradually until you are satisfied with the taste.
5. Add cornstarch diluted in ½ cup water and mix gradually.
6. Let the sauce thicken and adjust the taste if needed.
7. Add the sauce on top of the fried tilapia and serve.
