Here’s another favorite specialty that we’ve created back when we were in Singapore.
Ingredients:
4 pcs pork belly
Oil for deep frying
1 small onion, diced
1 tomato, sliced
2 cucumbers, sliced
Soy Sauce
Chili sauce, optional
Lemon or kalamansi
How to prepare:
Marinate the pork belly with salt and pepper. Leave it for at least an hour or overnight.
Cooking Instructions:
1. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the pork belly until brown and crispy.
2. Remove from heat and slice the fried pork belly into bite-size pieces. Place slices on a serving dish.
3. Add sliced onions, tomato, cucumber, soy sauce and chili sauce. Then squeeze in some kalamansi or lemon. Mix all ingredients until well blended.
4. Serve and enjoy!
