Homemade Restaurant Style Buffalo Chicken

This recipe is perhaps one of my favorites. It's easy and definitely satisfies my cravings when I'm PMSing.


Ingredients


For the coating:

½ kilo chicken wings / drumstick

½ cup all-purpose flour

¼ tsp paprika

¼ tsp chili powder

¼ tsp pepper

¼ teaspoon salt

2 eggs

oil for deep frying


For the buffalo sauce:

¼ cup hot sauce

¼ cup butter ¼ tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste



Preparing the chicken:

1. Marinate the chicken with salt, pepper and chili powder.

2. In a small bowl mix the flour, paprika, chili powder, pepper and salt.

3. Coat the chicken with the flour mixture until evenly coated.

4. Slightly beat the eggs and season with salt and pepper.

5. Coat the chicken with egg mixture.

6. Drench back the chicken with flour mixture for a double coating and set aside.


Cooking Instructions:

Heat oil in a pan. The oil should be enough to deep fry the chicken. Deep fry chicken until golden brown. Set aside.


For the Sauce:

On a separate pan, mix butter, hot sauce, garlic powder, pepper and salt in low fire. Stir until well blended.


Add the hot sauce mixture to the chicken and stir until all sides are evenly coated. You can also leave the buffalo sauce as dipping sauce if not everyone likes spicy sauce.


Serve and enjoy!
